Drakes new single ‘Tuesday’ was his 72nd appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Drake featured on Makonnen’s single ‘Tuesday’ made it to the Billboard Hot 100 charts last week. Making this Drake’s 72nd time on the chart, moving him in front of The Beatles as the artist with the eighth most appearances on the chart ever.

The hit song “Tuesday” debuted at #90 this week according to Billboard. To date Drake has failed to reach a #1 single on the chart as a solo artist but currently has the record for the most #1 songs on Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs.

This after only six years after first appearing on the charts, beating out Jay Z, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West in the process.

Jay Z and Lil Wayne are both ahead of Drake for most appearances on the Hot 100. Ahead of Drake are Elvis, James Brown, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, and Glee which holds the number one spot with 207 separate entries on the chart.
