Katy Perry performs to 30,000 in Manila
Katy Perry once again Wowed fans with an outstanding performance, this time in Manila as she continues her world tour.
After the show she tweeted, “Tonight we wrapped our biggest show yet with over 30,000 people in attendance in Manila!”
In her performance at the Philippine Arena, Katy sang her usual set list, some she performed on a medley.
The songs included: “Roar”, Part of Me”, “Wide Awake”, “Dark Horse”, “E.T.”, “Legendary Lovers”, “I Kissed a Girl”, “Hot N Cold”, “International Smile/Vogue”, “By the Grace of God”, The One that Got Away”, Thinking of You”, “Unconditionally”, “Walking on Air”, “This is How We Do”, “Last Friday Night”, “Teenage Dream”, “California Girls”, and “Firework”.
Many thought the part where Perry picked a fan, Martee Viray, to teach her the Filipino language as the highlight of the concert.
Perry tried to say “salamat” but often ended up saying “salami“.
While fans loved the show they were less than happy with the traffic leaving the arena, on fan said, “The traffic was a nightmare”.
Katy’s last show in Manila was held at the Mall of Asia complex. This show was held at the brand new Philippine Arena in Bulacan just north of city.
Nicole Ramos said, “Not even the traffic can take away the awesome time we had at Katy Perry’s Prismatic World Tour 2015!”
Chelsea Domingo said, “Traffic scheme in Phil Arena needs to be more organized. Good thing Katy Perry’s show was worth it”.
“Got home at 3:30 in the morning Only @katyperry can cause that intense traffic from the Philippine Arena, nevertheless it was worth it!” a Raffi Alcantara tweeted.
